1. Data controller
The controller of personal data related to cookies and similar technologies is TRACLOG S.r.l. (“Traclog”, “we”), with registered office at Via Duomo 22, 37045 Legnago (VR), Italy, VAT no. 04910900234.

- Website: www.traclog.it
This Cookie Policy supplements the site’s Privacy Notice (currently published in Italian). For data-subject rights and general processing information, please refer to that document.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or a third-party service may store on your device when you visit a page. They allow the site to recognise the device, remember preferences or provide security features.
In this notice, “cookies and similar technologies” also include:
- first-party and third-party cookies;
- session identifiers and security tokens;
- browser local storage / session storage where used for technical purposes;
- third-party scripts and resources that may process connection data (e.g. IP address) even when they do not always set a profiling cookie.
3. Legal basis and consent
Under EU rules and Garante guidance:
- Strictly necessary / technical cookies — required to deliver the service you request or to secure and operate the site. They do not require prior consent. Legal basis is typically legitimate interest or necessity for the requested service (Art. 6 GDPR, depending on context).
- Non-anonymised analytics, profiling or marketing cookies — require free, specific, informed and withdrawable consent before activation.
Current site status: we do not use profiling cookies, behavioural advertising cookies or marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). Therefore no consent banner for non-technical cookies is active. If we introduce non-essential cookies later, we will update this notice and implement a compliant consent mechanism (banner / CMP) before loading them.
4. Categories of cookies and technologies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary (technical)
These technologies are essential for browsing, security and submitting the quote request form. They may be set by Traclog or by infrastructure providers (e.g. Cloudflare).
| Name / type | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Hosting / edge security cookies (e.g. Cloudflare cookies such as __cf_bm, cf_clearance or equivalents) | Cloudflare, Inc. | Protection against abusive traffic, bots and attacks; reliable site delivery | Session or short-lived (often up to ~30 minutes for __cf_bm; others per Cloudflare policy) |
Cloudflare Turnstile (cf-turnstile-response and related scripts) | Cloudflare, Inc. | Anti-abuse verification on the quote form; spam and automated-submission prevention | Loaded only on form pages; one-time / session token |
| Any strictly functional session cookies for the form or navigation | Traclog / site infrastructure | Ensure correct operation of the quote request and technical session continuity | Session or limited to purpose |
4.2 Preferences
We currently do not use preference cookies (e.g. saving language or layout beyond what the URL already handles).
4.3 Analytics
We currently do not use web-analytics cookies or SDKs (neither Google Analytics nor profiling alternatives). If we add measurement tools, they will be listed here with legal basis and consent where required.
4.4 Marketing / profiling
We currently do not use marketing, retargeting or behavioural advertising cookies.
5. Third-party services and resources (including without cookies)
Some site components load third-party resources. Even when they do not set a profiling cookie, the network request may involve processing of technical data (e.g. IP, user-agent, referrer) by the provider.
| Service | Provider | When loaded | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC | All pages (font stylesheets) | Serve typefaces for correct visual rendering |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare, Inc. | Quote request pages | Protect the form from automated abusive submissions |
| OpenFreeMap (vector tiles) + MapLibre | OpenFreeMap / tile infrastructure; MapLibre (client open-source library) | Only sections with a coverage map (where present) | Decorative/informative coverage map display |
| Cloudflare Pages hosting / CDN | Cloudflare, Inc. | Always (site delivery) | Hosting, performance and infrastructure security |
Third-party providers act, as the case may be, as processors or as independent controllers for their own security and infrastructure purposes. Please also review:
- Cloudflare Privacy Policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (notably Cloudflare and Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on Chapter V GDPR safeguards, typically:
- European Commission adequacy decisions (where applicable, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified entities);
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures adopted by the provider.
For more on transfers and general security measures, see also the Privacy Notice.
7. Retention
Technical cookies remain active only for the time needed for the stated purpose (session or short duration). One-time security tokens are invalidated after use or when they expire under the provider’s policy. Infrastructure logs (if any, at the host) are kept under security policies and applicable law for no longer than necessary.
8. How to manage or disable cookies
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may break site features or block quote-form submission (e.g. if Turnstile cannot complete verification).
Official guides for major browsers:
You can also use browser privacy settings (tracking protection, third-party cookie blocking) and industry opt-out tools where available.
9. Your rights
Regarding personal data processed via cookies and similar technologies, you may exercise the rights under Arts. 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where applicable) by contacting the controller at the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence in the EU/EEA.
10. Updates
Traclog may update this Cookie Policy to reflect legal, technical or organisational changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the current version. If we introduce non-technical cookies, the update will include an appropriate consent mechanism.
